Sunset Motel is set in tranquil farmland, just a short stroll from the Fox Glacier village.With a large back lawn and garden areas for your enjoyment or for the kids to play in while you sit back to a glass of wine.

 

                              

 

All units have full glass frontages to allow for unimpeded views of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman (New Zealand's highest peaks) and the rugged Southern Alps.Snow capped mountains all year round give great views all day as the snow glows.

With no main road noise you can sleep in peace with only the views to keep you awake.

 

You don't even have to  leave Sunset Motels to get some  of the best sunset photos in  the world. Just look out of your room window at the sun setting on Mt Cook and Mt Tasman.

 

They glow red, orange and purple in the night sky reflecting the natural wonders of this area.We can suggest locations for the best photos in the Glacier National Park.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are happy to do any bookings for activities to make your holiday as easy as we can while you stay in our Fox Glacier accommodation.

We can get discounts on Scenic helicopter flights to save you money so you can spend it on something else.

We have personally completed most of the activities in the Glacier Country area, so we can advise you on which activities will suit what you are wanting while you are here.

Bruce has climbed Mt Fox and is able to advise other trampers and walkers on where to go and what you will experience at the top!

With so much to do in this area we recommend at least a two night stay to ensure you can fully immerse yourself.
